Transfers We can arrange transfers for you from the airport to the apartment/house. France: Transfers from La Rochelle or Nantes can be arranged for you. Please contact us for the current prices.Spain: Transfers from Alicante, Murcia or San Javier can be arranged for you. Please contact us for the current prices.Turkey: We can organise and book the transfer from Dalaman or Antalya airport, and should you wish, we can pay for it in advance on your behalf for a stress free arrival. All you need to do is add the cost of the transfer when you pay your final booking balance and your transfer is then paid for. Please contact us for the current prices.
Hair dryer The apartment/house has a hairdryer available for you to use.
France: Inclusive in the rental price is the cost of the initial clean before you arrive. This is done so that the house is looking its best on arrival. Additional cleans can be arranged with a small extra charge. You are expected to leave the house clean and tidy as you found it.Turkey: Inclusive in the price is the cost of a weekly cleaner and linen change. France: There are a number of ways to get to La Tranche sur Mer, here are some examples. If you need any help finding the most suitable method for you, please contact us. By Plane – Ryanair, Easyjet, and Flybe do cheap flights to La Rochelle from Birmingham, Stanstead and Southampton. British Airways and Air France offer a number of routes as well, such as London Gatwick to Nantes. By Ferry – Brittany Ferries operate a great service from Portsmouth, Poole, Plymouth and Cork. Alternatives are Hoverspeed, Seafrance, Superfast Ferries, Transmanche Ferries, Irish Ferries and no doubt lots of others. Eurotunnel – Folkstone to Calais for passengers and vehicles. By Train – The Eurostar provides connection points to Poitiers, La Rochelle, Nantes and Lucon.Turkey: The nearest airport to fly in to is Dalaman International which is roughly 35 miles from Calis. Airport transfers are advised but the more adventurous can make there way from the airport by bus but it may not end up much cheaper and will certainly take a lot longer.Spain: The nearest airport to fly in to is San Javiee which is roughly 20 drive from La Torre. Alicante is about 1 hours drive. Care hire is recommended.We request that any smokers please go outside the property to smoke and to always remove and dispose of any cigarette ends; this is to keep things clean, protect the furniture, avoid smells/stains and minimise the risk of fire. By not allowing smoking indoors, we can keep our prices much lower.
Suitable for elderly and children France: With only the mezzanine room up stairs, it is suitable for the elderly and children. The stairs have child gates available and a hand rail. The garden is fully enclosed so the children cannot sneak away unnoticed. Turkey: The three bedroom apartments are duplex apartments on the first and second floors. The stairs have child gates and hand rails so they are still suitable for all ages. The two bedroom apartments are on the ground floor with just three small steps up to the front door. The complex has an enclosed shared garden with gates at all entrances/exits. The complex has a small pool for children only 30cm’s deep, and a larger pool which is roughly 150cm’s at it’s deepest.To save you valuable luggage space and to ensure the property is welcoming on arrival, we provide bed linen and house towels in all our bookings. However, we ask that the house towels are not taken outside, so guests should bring their own beach towels.
France: The instruction on how to pick up the keys will be sent to you in our ‘Directions & Instructions’ document that we will send during the booking process. Turkey: If we arrange the airport transfer for you then the driver will have the keys ready for you. If you make your own way to the apartment then all you need to do is call our property management to let them know when you have arrived, they will then send a representative to meet you with the keys.
Spain: The instruction on how meet and greet details will be sent to you in our ‘Directions & Instructions’ document during the booking process There is an iron and an ironing board provided for you. They will be found in a cupboard or wardrobe. When using the barbeque, please be considerate to your neighbours to avoid ‘smoking’ them out. France: There is a large barbeque for you to use on the patio in the enclosed garden.Turkey: Some apartments do have small barbeques for you to use. Please contact us to be sure that the apartment you’ve booked has one.
DVD Player & other entertainment There is a DVD player and some books, magazines and board games for you to use. Some DVD’s have been left for you and others have been left by previous guests, feel free to add to the collection or exchange them at any time. Hopefully you’ll be out and about in the sun but just in case.* We cannot be sure that the DVD’s, books or board games will always be there as they sometimes ‘go missing’.
Turkish Holiday Visa The visa to enter Turkey currently costs £10 and can be paid in £’s, €’s, $’s or Turkish Lira. When arriving at the airport you will be shown the way to ‘Visa Paying Booths’. The visa lasts for 90 days of multiple entry.
